Matthew Arnold & Baldwin Solicitors came to Jellyfish with a request to re-brand having enjoyed a period of success and growth. They had established a London presence and set up a new Milton Keynes office.

Their old brand was dated and tired and they wanted an image which was more suited to the ‘city’ and reflected their recent expansion.

However, on consultation with the firm’s Partners and marketing department it became apparent that their whole range of corporate communications needed a re-vamp.

Consequently we overhauled not only their brand identity but their full suite of marketing materials. The approach was to produce a range of service-specific brochure-ware targeted to their corporate clients. This included Business Forecast, Moving Home, HIPs and Companies Act brochures; a series of Direct Mail campaigns for the property department (including material for the international MIPIM event in Cannes); several pocket sized ‘Key Fact’ cards and corporate brochures for all 3 offices.

We also developed a series of templates for firm-wide and departmental advertising, along with a generic ‘look’ for the firm’s seminar/event invitations.

The most important achievement was that all the marketing materials were brought into line under a brand guidelines document. The items were produced using a consistent design style so that the brand was instantly recognisable. Previously the marketing materials had been produced in a range of styles and lacked cohesion both in their look and their message.
